Calgary man dies after being pulled from lake near Canmore

A Calgary man has died after being pulled from a lake in Canmore.
The man was swimming in Quarry Lake on Thursday afternoon, when he yelled for help and then disappeared under the surface of the water for several minutes.
He was located unresponsive, and bystanders were able to pull him to the shore and perform CPR until Police, Canmore EMS, and the Canmore Fire Department arrived on scene.
STARS Air Ambulance also responded to assist.
The 28 year old died in hospital.
His name will not be released until his family is notified.
