New Glenmore Trail/Ogden Road Interchange to open

It’s a big day for commuters in Calgary’s southeast.
The city will officially open the Glenmore Trail/Ogden Road SE Interchange Tuesday afternoon.
The new six-lane road allows motorists to avoid the railway crossing in the area, and is expected to improve traffic flow.
A celebration begins at 1:30 p.m., with Councillor Gian-Carlo Carra, Calgary-East MLA Robyn Luff and other transportation officials on hand to give the official green light.
Drivers will have access to the route beginning Wednesday morning.
