Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter had a scare while at a charity event in Winnipeg.
The nominations for the Emmys were announced and some big names and titles are head lining this years nominees.
Netflix original series’ House of Cards and Stranger Things were nominated for Best Drama Series, while another Netflix show, Master of None, is up for Best Comedy Series.
Viola Davis, from How to Get Away with Murder, is nominated for Best Actress in a Drama and Kevin Spacey is nominated for Best Actor in a Drama, for House of Cards.
Aziz Ansari could win for Best Actor in a Comedy, for Master of None, and Millie Bobby Brown is up for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, for Stranger Things.
#WhatAboutKaren was all the buzz during the football game between The Argos and Blue Bombers. Karen Kuldys had a chance to win $1-milliopn if two kickoffs were returned for touchdowns. She didn’t have to wait long for her first touchdown as Winnipeg scored on the opening play. The second touchdown scored on a kickoff followed soon after, or so everyone thought. But the touchdown, and the money, were taken away due to a very questionable flag.
