Family of missing Kelly Flock holds out hope

Dozens gathered Thursday night at the Find Kelly Flock candlelight vigil outside the Marda Loop Community Association.

The 68-year-old father has been missing for nearly a month, and his family is still holding out hope he will be found alive.

Kelly’s brother, Brad Flock, said many of those at the vigil have been searching tirelessly for him.

“Thousands of flyers have been distributed and we’ve worked with the Stampede, we’ve worked with the city police, we’ve worked with the neighbourhood, we’ve worked with the camera footage from neighbourhoods, but the fact is there are not a lot of leads to go on,” he said.

Flock was last seen at an Original Joe’s in Marda Loop on 34 Avenue S.W. on June 22.

Family says he doesn’t have his medication, but they hope someone has taken him in, and he is alive.
