Rangeland Derby cancelled during stormy weather

Night four of the Rangeland Derby was cancelled with three heats to go due to heavy rain and poor track conditions.
It’s believed to be the first time the event at the Calgary Stampede has been cancelled during the race.
Calgary was under a severe thunderstorm watch, and was experiencing heavy rain and lightning, when the event was cancelled.
