Two dead after two car crash east of Strathmore

Two people are dead after a minivan and SUV collided in Wheatland County.
Just after 5 p.m. Monday, EMS were sent to Highway 840 and Highway 564 near Standard, Alberta.
A minivan carrying seven people went through a stop sign and hit the SUV, killing the two people inside.
Two people were flown to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance, and five others were transported by ground ambulance.
All were in non-life threatening condition.
RCMP are continuing to investigate and don’t believe alcohol was a factor.
Charges are pending.
