Man shot in Sunalta

Police are looking for suspects after a shooting Tuesday night in the southwest community of Sunalta.
It happened in an apartment building in the 1900 block of 11 Avenue S.W. around 6:30 p.m.
A 30-year-old man was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition, but has since been upgraded to stable.
Investigators say three men were seen fleeing the area in a medium blue 2017 Jeep Cherokee.
Police taped off the scene, and searched a nearby storage trailer.
“We’re still investigating, so we don’t have any updates on suspects at this time,” Detective Keith Sylvester said.
Neighbours said the building has been a constant problem for police, and before the shooting, they heard arguing coming from the patio of the apartment.
One man told 660 NEWS, he woke to the sound of four gunshots, and then saw the man being treated by paramedics.
