The change of season can be a good thing when the calendar switches from spring to summer. #FirstDayOfSummer was trending, Wednesday, as many social media users tweeted, shared and mentioned just how ready they are for the hot temperatures, vacations, and outdoor activities.
But, not everyone was thrilled about the change. #WorstThingAboutSummer accompanied the earlier, with a variety of reasons why summer isn’t everyone’s favourite time of year!
In Canada #NationalAboriginalDay was trending, recognizing indigenous people and celebrating what they have done for the country.
