A good start for the new Banff shuttle bus on the weekend.
The On-It Canada 150 Regional Transit line is now taking people from Calgary and surrounding area to Banff.
Colleen Shepard, Executive Director of the Calgary Regional Partnership, says things are going well so far.
“I just spoke with a few people, I spent last night in Banff actually seeing people off back to Calgary, and oh we heard wonderful things. It’s long needed, people who haven’t been able to get to Banff, people who can’t drive and park there. It’s just really exciting,” exclaimed Shepard.
It costs $10 each way and kids under 5 ride for free.
The pilot project runs on weekends and holidays until September 4th.
