Trump disputes former FBI director Comey’s claims

U-S President Donald Trump has sidestepped several attempts by reporters to get him to reveal if there are any recordings of his meeting with former F-B-I director James Comey.

Yesterday, Comey told the Senate Intelligence committee that Trump asked him to let former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn go free from any further investigation of alleged ties to the Russians.

He was fired shortly afterwards.

Trump, with the visiting Romanian leader by his side, also denies Comey’s assertion that he demanded his loyalty, saying of Comey — quote — “I hardly know the man.”

He also told a reporter he’d be willing to refute Comey’s testimony under oath.
