Four people killed in head-on crash

Four people have been killed in a head-on collision involving two pick-up trucks in northeast Alberta.
Corporal Chris Warren told 660 NEWS they were called to the scene on Highway 29 near Elk Point around 6:40 Wednesday night.
“Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, two passengers in one of the vehicles also succumbed to their injuries on-scene, (and) a third passenger in that same pick-up was transported to hospital with injuries of an unknown severity at this time,” said Warren.
Highway 29 was closed for some time as police investigated.
