Spring cleaning prompts overnight closures on Deerfoot

A heads up for Calgary’s night owls — there will be a number of overnight closures on Deerfoot Trail this week.
Crews will be busy doing some spring cleaning on the major roadway.
The southbound lanes of Deerfoot from 17 Avenue SE to Glenmore Trail will be shut down from 9 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Southbound Deerfoot from 17 Avenue to Southland Drive will also be closed Wednesday night at 9 p.m., re-opening 5 a.m. Thursday.
