Alberta still mapping out plan for legal pot: Ceci

The province’s finance minister says it’s too early to say what Alberta’s retail landscape will look like with legal pot.
Joe Ceci told reporters Wednesday, the NDP government continues to work on those details.
“The introduction to the (federal) bill is really the first step in the process of getting legalization occurring and one that we will be working closely with other provinces to ensure that we’re all on the same bases,” he said.
Ceci said Premier Rachel Notley’s biggest concern is the safety of children and motorists on highways.
Ceci made the comments the day before the federal government was expected to table a bill to legalize pot.
