Losing a loved one is unbelievably difficult but the Friends of Fish Creek are hoping to help.
The group is holding a ‘Good Grief! Nature Walking Through Grief and Loss Wellness Program.’
Research conducted with Alberta Parks and Mount Royal University shows that nature teaches people how to grieve.
It offers an opportunity for exercise, fresh air, natural light and the quiet companionship of trees and wildlife.
The eight week program runs Monday evenings from May 8 to June 26 in Fish Creek Provincial Park.
