NDP to release details on energy efficiency rebates

Rachel Notley’s NDP government is set to release details of a program offering rebates to home owners for making their residences more energy efficient.
The Energy Efficiency Program is being funded by the carbon tax which started January 1.
As part of the program, the government has already promised to pony-up cash to help people install low-power light bulbs, low flow water fixtures and high efficiency heating components.
Environment Minister Shannon Phillips will release the details early Tuesday afternoon.
