Global Petroleum Show readies for 49th Calgary gathering

Planning for the 49th Global Petroleum Show is well underway, and despite a turned down economy, organizers are thrilled to be back in Calgary.
VP of the Global Petroleum Show Bruce Carew tells 660 NEWS the 45,000 the show drew last year is the benchmark they have placed at this year’s event.
“I think we are hearing a lot more optimism from a number of our clients, and they see things are starting to turn a little bit in the industry,” he said.
“We look forward to the show being of similar size to what we had last year, but we’ve added a bunch of new content,” he added.
The show will run June 13 15 at Stampede Park.
