Hitmen fall to Blades in see-saw contest

The Saskatoon Blades handed the Calgary Hitmen their fifth straight loss on Tuesday night.

The Blades skated away with a 5 – 4 overtime win.

Jesse Shynkaruk had a hat trick for the Blades, while Gage Ramsay and Braylon Shmyr also scored.

Matteo Gennaro scored twice in the overtime loss, while Jake Kryski scored in his Hitmen debut after being acquired in a trade with Kelowna.

Mark Kastelic had the other Hitmen tally.

Jake Bean had a pair of assists to extend his assist streak to eight games.

The game went back and forth with the lead changing hands four times.

The Hitmen, 14-19-4-2, wrap up their four-game East Division road trip Wednesday in Prince Albert.
