Snowfall warnings in effect south and west of Calgary

There’s going to be an extra dusting of white for Southern Alberta to start 2017.
Snowfall Warnings have been issued for areas south and west of Calgary.
“In terms of snowfall amounts, anywhere from 10 to 15 centimetres of snow,” says Environment Canada Meteorologist Marianna Greenhough. “And that would be from the Cardston, sort of Pincher Creek regions and all the way up to Okotoks, Claresholm and Kananaskis.”
Calgary is not included but the forecast calls for up to five centimetres of snow Saturday night.
