Cochrane RCMP advise against travel on area highways

If you were planning on travelling west of Calgary, Cochrane RCMP are advising against driving on their local highways.
Mounties says roads are icy and snow covered, and if you get into a crash there are reports you may wait for over four hours for a tow truck.
Police report icy roads and reduced visibility around Cochrane and the MD of Rockview.
RCMP says Highway 1 from Calgary city limits to Highway 1X is very icy and snow covered; travel is not recommended.
