The Calgary Stampeders are hoping that two-straight bye weeks won’t impact them this afternoon when they host the BC Lions in the CFL’s West Division Final.

The Stampeders ended the season on a bye week and had another bye by virtue of finishing first in the West. The Lions rallied past Winnipeg last week 32-31 to advance.

The Red & White finished with a record of 15-2-1 and took 2 of 3 over BC in the regular season.

Kickoff from McMahon Stadium is set for 2:30pm.

First up though at 11am, it’s a rematch of last year’s Grey Cup in Ottawa with the Redblacks hosting the Edmonton Eskimos in the East Division Final.

Edmonton beat the Redblacks to win the league’s top prize last year.

The Eskimos earned a spot in the East Final with a win in Hamilton last week. Ottawa was the top team in the division and had a bye.
