Salvation Army launches 2016 Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army is hoping for a lot of support when it kicks off the 2016 Christmas Kettle Campaign Thursday.
Spokesperson Scott Taylor says it’s been a tough year but it’s important to remember that there is always someone out there who is worse off than you.
The Salvation Army is holding a ‘Hope in the City’ luncheon at noon at the Hyatt downtown and renowned political commentator Rex Murphy is the keynote speaker.
The Christmas Kettle Campaign continues until December 24 at various mall and stores, or you can donate online.
