Have you ever heard of a bionic hybrid neuro chip?
It’s a new piece of technology developed by University of Calgary researchers that will help them understand how the brain works.
The chip can record activity in animal brain cells for weeks, at a high resolution.
The hope is the new tech will help researchers identify the origins of neurological diseases and conditions, including epilepsy.
The U of C advancement was published in the journal Scientific Reports this month.
