The holiday cocktail season is fast approaching and there’s a chance this weekend to find something new to add to your repertoire.
The 19th annual Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival goes Friday and Saturday at the BMO Centre on Stampede Park.
Social Media and Senior Event Co-ordinator Janelle Gignac says they will be cracking a couple of bottles of very exclusive vintages.
“Two big ones this year: we have the Taylor Fladgate 1863 Single Harvest Port, as well as the Ledaig 42-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch, so those are for the people who want to splurge this year and try something pretty extravagant,” said Gignac.
There will also be wines from 20 countries as well as several craft beers including some local offerings.
