Police arrest man wanted for armed robberies

Calgary police have arrested a man they say was wanted for a string of robberies at pet stores and M&M Meat Shops over the summer.
According to investigators, in each case, he would go to the till and tell the clerk to hand over the money, producing a small knife.
In one case he was even reported to be wielding a machete.
27-year-old Daniel Loveys of Calgary was arrested Thursday afternoon, he’s being charged with 22 related offences.
