This week, meet Butters!
“Who is a wonderful 5-year old shepherd cross,” says Nikki Knopp with AARCS. “Really friendly with people, not too ‘in your face’, not too demanding of attention, but always happy to get [that] attention and cuddles.”
“I’d say almost the perfect dog. He loves to go for his walks.”
But if you plan on going for those walks, there’s something quirky you should know.
“He’s got this little frisbee toy that he loves, so he always has to take his frisbee on a walk, and it’s super cute.”
Butters is good with other dogs and other people, but Knopp says they’re not sure about cats at this time.
They’re hoping to get him into a home with another dog, or a home where he can socialize every day.
As for kids, probably best to have older children because Butters can get scared of those rowdy toddlers.
“Overall he’s just a lovely boy, he’ll be a great addition for a family that’s just looking for an easy going dog.”
