Calgary police at scene of suspicious death in Calgary’s southeast

Calgary police are investigating after a body was found in Cranston, on the city’s south end.
Police say the call came in from a neighbour who reported a body on the driveway of a home around 7:15 a.m. Saturday morning.
When officers arrived on scene in the 100 block of Cranford Green S.E., they found a woman dead.
Police say they were able to determine the person was associated with the home where she was found but she didn’t live there.
Investigators continue to hold the scene until they hear from the medical examiner to determine the official cause of death.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
