Mother and daughter injured in ATV accident near Cremona

A precautionary call for STARS air ambulance Saturday afternoon.

The paramedics were called around 3:30 p.m. southwest of Cremona, Alberta, to reports of a mother and daughter pair being hit by an ATV.

The incident occurred when the vehicle was being pulled free, after becoming stuck mud; the operator lost control and hit the pair.

Injuries are non life threatening to both the 41-year-old mother and 12-year-old daughter.

One of them was air lifted to Foothills Hospital but it’s unclear which woman was taken.

No one else was hurt in this incident.
