Two people are in hospital in stable condition after a lightning strike near the Calgary airport.
Carol Henke with the Calgary Fire Dept. said four workers were roofing when the strike occurred near a building at 580 Palmer Road N.E.
“It was a metal roof that was struck by lightning causing injury to the roofers,” Henke said.
Two of the four are in stable, non-life threatening condition, while the others were uninjured.
EMS is on scene.
