Calgary Pride raising money for a rainbow crosswalk

Calgary Pride is using crowd-funding to get its popular rainbow crosswalk painted across 9th Avenue in front of the Calgary Tower.
Last year, it was painted in front of City Hall and was funded by private donations.
A GoFundMe page is now in place, hoping to raise $4,000 for the multi-colored paint and labour.
The total price tag for install the crosswalk on Macleod Trail last year was $8,000.
As of noon Thursday, they had raised about $400.
