Health Insurance costs continue to rise

A new report shows the average Canadian family is spending nearly $11,500 on health care insurance this year.

The Fraser Institute says that’s up close to 38-per cent in the past decade.

Only clothing costs have risen at a faster pace in the country in that time span.

The organization says it releases its health care spending report so people can see how their tax dollars are really being spent.
