The Canada Border Services Agency is anticipating a busy holiday season, with many travel-goers driving to their summer destinations.
“We advise travelers to consider crossing in the morning, as traffic volumes usually build from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.,” CBSA spokesperson Luke Reimer explained.
And that’s not the only way to make sure it’s a seamless trip over the border.
“Have your identification ready when you’re re-entering Canada,” he stated. “Make sure you declare all of the merchandise you bought and received and be aware of your personal exemptions.”
Acceptable forms of identification for entry into Canada include a passport, a NEXUS card and an enhanced driver’s licence.
