Calgary ex-pat weighs in on Britain’s E.U. exit

Local ex-pats are reacting to Britain’s decision to leave the European Union with shock.

Calgarian Keith Bradford left the London area for Canada about 15 years ago.

He says he’s feeling pretty sad about what happened, and the campaign surrounding “Brexit.”

“Lots of xenophobia and hidden racism, in my opinion. I just didn’t think that people would vote in that direction,” said Bradford.

However, Bradford says in the grand scheme of things the global implications of the split are more disturbing to him.
