Calgarains embracing their inner child for fifth Race for Kids

The fifth Race for Kids kicks off at the Boys and Girls Club Hangar in Renfrew on Saturday.

Teams of Calgarians will be channelling their inner child solving clues, passing checkpoints, challenging their body and building team spirit.

120 people will be taking part in this charity event.

Spokesperson Carlyn Van Essen says the funds raised will go towards important Boys and Girls Clubs programs.

“Help kids to develop confidence and skills for life and we have programs in recreation in arts and leadership and helping them to build positive and healthy relationships with adults and their peers.” Essen said.

Although it’s too late to register for the event, people can still donate at raceforkids.ca/calgary.
