Lethbridge woman killed after attack in her home

Police have begun a homicide investigation after a woman was attacked in her north-side home in Lethbridge Thursday night.
The 54-year-old was rushed to hospital where she died a short time later.
A 28-year-old woman was arrested at the home.
Police say an autopsy is being done at the medical examiner’s office in Calgary to determine how the woman died.
Charges are pending.
