If you’re dining out this week, say “yes” to dessert.
A number of Calgary restaurants, are participating in Sweet Dreams Dessert Days, with all the proceeds going to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
“It’s a really great excuse to have dessert every night of the week and we have over 40 restaurants this year taking place in the Sweet Dreams, Dessert Days event,” says Spokesperson April Cote.
The proceeds help the organization grant wishes to Calgary and area children with life-threatening medical conditions.
On Saturday morning between 10 a.m. and 1p.m. celebrity judges will be on hand along with wish child Kayla to judge seven of the offerings. Among the celebrity judges at the SAIT downtown culinary campus: 660’s Ian Campbell, who wishes he could try all “40” of the creations.
