Rogers Hometown Hockey hits Calgary

The 2015-16 Rogers Hometown Hockey Tour has rolled into Calgary.

The event, which runs both Saturday and Sunday at Olympic Plaza, features free outdoor hockey fesitivies including games, live entertainment and food. A number of Calgary Flames alumni are on hand including Craig Conroy, Theo Fleury, Sheldon Kennedy and Lanny McDonald.

On Saturday, the festival runs until 6 p.m.

Sunday’s schedule sees the festival open at 11 a.m. and runs through the end of the outdoor viewing party, as the Flames are in Montreal taking on the Canadiens at 4:30 p.m. Ron MacLean is hosting a special pre-game show live on site from the Sportsnet Mobile Studio with co-host Tara Slone.
