660 NEWS Pet of the Week

This week, the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society wants to introduce Ophelia.

“She is a beautiful little calico. She’s stunning with orange and black and white markings,” says Kelsey Scoular with AARCS. “She’s about 12 – 14 years old and a super sweet little girl, with a bunch of years left to go.”

“Her eyes look a little bit droopy, so she always looks like she’s squinting at you. But she is just always looking for pats and wants to curl up with somebody.”

Ophelia had a bit of a rough go before heading into the organization’s care.

“She actually had all of her teeth removed, because when she came into us she was very very sick. So she was in foster homes and just trying to feel better.”

And Ophelia is much better, but is on a strict soft food diet since she is missing all of those teeth.

AARCS is looking for a calm home for this feline. If you think you can provide that for her, you can find more information at aarcs.ca.
