A pep rally at a school in McKenzie Lake Tuesday, will be promoting a youth mental health game this weekend.
Students at Blessed Cardinal Newman School are hoping for a packed house of 3,000 fans as they unveil posters they’ve been working on for four weeks.
Saturday, 10 Canadian Olympians will be taking the ice, and limited edition Calgary Inferno purple jerseys will be auctioned off to help spread awareness about mental wellness.
There will also be guest appearances by Sheldon Kennedy, Bo Levi Mitchell, and Rob Cote of the Calgary Stampeders.
Tuesday’s rally starts at 12:30 p.m.
