What will Fairview look like in 2066?
An event this weekend in the southeast neighbourhood aims to brainstorm big.
The Federation of Calgary Communities is teaming up with Urban Studies students at the University of Calgary to talk about how to map out change.
Dan Godin tells 660 NEWS, community members will be offering up some fresh ideas, with the students listening intently.
“Documents, videos — they create sort of a summary of what they heard, and you know, what Fairview could like in the future. Another thing that’s less tangible, but I think as important, is the discussion that happens there, a lot of the time it sort of kicks off relationships between people in the community,” he said.
The U of C students will report back with their visions in April.
