Sunday’s the day to toss teddies!

A fan favourite is back for its 21st year at the Saddledome this Sunday.
It’s the annual Teddy Bear Toss.
Hitmen Forward Radel Fazleev says he found out about the event before he even came here from Russia.
“I just figure out that I’m going to move to Calgary from Russia, first thing I did was search the Calgary Hitmen on YouTube, and this is the thing I saw first was the Teddy Bear Toss,” he said.
He adds it’s amazing to have 18,000 fans shower the ice with more than 20,000 stuffed animals — all for 60 local charities.
