CPS search for online dating fraudster

Calgary Police have issued warrants after a man has been scamming women he met through online dating sites.

CPS says numerous complaints have been filed by women who have given money to a man in exchange for a cheque that proved to be bogus, and they were unable to later find the man who had approached them soliciting money through online dating.

The investigation began in March, when one victim came forward saying she was bilked out of $550.00.

Police are looking for 28-year-old Dallon Kyle Johnstone, who also goes by Kyle Zirelli.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 6’ tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo on his right forearm of “West 2012.”

Johnstone is charged with fraud under $5,000.00.
