CPS believe series of bank robberies are connected

Calgary police are looking to the public to help find those resonsible for a string of bank robberies this summer.

In each of the five cases which are believed to be connected, the suspects used a ‘take over’ style to rob the four banks.

That’s when thieves tell the employees and clients to put their hands up as they jump the counter.

In a fifth case, a courier working for a bank was robbed as well.

Police say the three to four men wore masks and hoodies, while also carried guns.

In one case, a pregnant woman suffered minor injuries and in another, a child was in one of the banks.
