Calgary Canucks set to honour Ken Bracko

This weekend, the Calgary Canucks will raise Ken Bracko’s banner to the rafters of the Max Bell Centre.

Bracko was president of the AJHL franchise for more than 20 years and involved with the team for more than 30 years. He is also credited as one of the founders of the Mac’s Midget Tournament and received the 2014 Sportsman of the Year Award from the Calgary Booster Club.

Bracko passed away August 3 at the age of 74.

The Calgary Junior-A Canucks are dedicating the 2015-2016 season to Bracko’s memory.

Puck drop versus the Calgary Mustangs is 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12 at Max Bell. Tickets are $10 dollars.
