Calgary Police hunting for three suspects in two separate knife attacks

Calgary Police are investigating after two knife attacks early Saturday morning.

In the first incident, a cab driver found a man suffering from a stab wound to the leg around 3:50 in the vicinity of 4th Avenue and 8th Street southwest.

It’s believed he was robbed by people he knows.

Police are looking for a man and woman.

The second attack happened 25 minutes later, in the 5000 block of Centre Street northwest.

Acting Sergeant David Fakas tells 660 NEWS, two people suffered serious stab wounds in a confrontation with four others at a 7-Eleven.

“We don’t know the circumstances of the disturbance that occurred at that location, but it did occur outside the 7-Eleven, not inside the building,” said Fakas.

Three suspects are in custody.

A 4th is being sought, but investigators don’t have a description to go on.
