Relief at the pumps in sight

You might want to hold off on filling up your gas tank.

Gasoline prices have been declining recently, but there signs of even bigger drops, in the near future.

Refinery issues that caused big increases at the pumps, in the city, have been resolved.

Dan McTague with gasbuddy.com says relief is near, “Generally over the next few days we are going to see prices dropping down, I would expect another five cent decrease by Monday or Tuesday at the latest in Calgary,” he said.

A lot of stations in the city are currently selling around the 109 cent per litre mark, but you can find some businesses selling as low as 98.9 cents per litre.
