Sportsnet releases Calgary Flames 2015-16 broadcast schedule

Sportsnet will deliver exclusive coverage of all 82 Calgary Flames games of the 2015-16 season on television, as well as on radio on Sportsnet 960 The FAN. The first puck drops on Sportsnet at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7 – opening night of the NHL regular season – as the Flames begin at home with a re-match of last year’s first-round Stanley Cup Playoffs opponent, the Vancouver Canucks.

In addition to the regular season broadcasts, Sportsnet will also broadcast two Flames pre-season matchups on Friday, Sept. 25 and Saturday, Sept. 26.

On TV, Sportsnet West will be home to 46 regional Flames matchups, with an additional 14 regional games airing on the Sportsnet ONE companion channel, Sportsnet Flames. The regional television broadcast schedule begins on Tuesday, Oct. 13 when the Flames host the last year’s Central Division champion St. Louis Blues at 7 p.m. on Sportsnet Flames.

Rick Ball returns to the broadcast booth to call the play-by-play alongside analyst Kelly Hrudey, with host Roger Millions providing rinkside updates.

On radio, Sportsnet 960 The FAN is the exclusive home of Calgary Flames radio broadcasts this season. Derek Wills returns to call the play-by-play for all Flames radio broadcasts, alongside analyst Peter Loubardias.
