RCMP looking for fake cop warning driver to ‘slow down’

Okotoks RCMP are searching for a man believed to be impersonating a police officer.
A driver in DeWinton alerted Mounties after she was pulled over by a man with red and blue flashing lights on his vehicle on July 21st.
The man allegedly asked for her driver’s license and registration and took them back to his vehicle.
The woman was then issued a $200 fine and was told three demerit points were taken off her licence.
She was also told to slow down.
Police have not indicated how she came to believe the man was not an officer.
The suspect was described as the following:
· Caucasian male, 20 years old to early 30’s
· Short dark hair
· Short facial hair, stubble
· Dark eyes
· Slim build
· Long face with square chin
· wearing a tan uniform with police badge pinned on chest
