Lake Louise looking to ease congestion over long weekend

Parks Canada is trying to reduce traffic congestion in Banff National Park for the August long weekend.

They are launching a free shuttle service from the village of Lake Louise to Moraine Lake, a top sightseeing destination.

The buses will run August 1st, 2nd and 3rd in 20 minute intervals from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. from the Lake Louise overflow parking lot, which is a few kilometres east of Lake Louise, and about 50 kilometres west of Banff.

A similar shuttle service has been successfully offered over the last two years in September.
