Flames ink Lance Bouma to new deal

After a career season, Lance Bouma is earning a raise and will be with the Calgary Flames for three more years.

The 25-year-old netted 16 goals and added 18 assists for 34 points in the 2014-15 season.

He is also known as one of the team’s grittiest players, willing to block shots and put his body on the line.

The three-year contract is said to be worth a total of $6.6 million dollars.

Bouma was drafted in the third round of the 2008 draft.
