Calgary police warn public of a high risk offender released Tuesday

The Calgary Police are warning the public of a high risk offender that was released from prison on Tuesday.

54 year old Russell Noskey has served two years in federal prison for assault causing bodily harm.

Russell Noskey has a history of violent offences including impaired driving, threats, assault, criminal negligence, assault with a weapon, sexual assault, assault causing bodily harm, pointing a firearm, and manslaughter.

He’s described as aboriginal, 170 pounds, about five foot eight inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes with two tattoos, one on his left hand with the initials R.N and a small cross on his left forearm.

His past offences were committed in Edmonton and Peace River.

Russell Noskey will be monitored by The Calgary police high risk offender program.
